This policy reflects Akuntsu’s current data practices and is undergoing review by Quebec legal counsel.

This Cookie Policy explains how Akuntsu Inc. uses cookies, web beacons, and browser storage technologies (including HTML5 localStorage and sessionStorage) on Akuntsu.com, Attractr, and Audience Lab, and how you can control them.
1. Privacy-by-Default (Quebec Law 25)
Quebec’s Law 25 requires explicit opt-in consent before any non-essential tracking technology — including cookies, web beacons, pixels, and browser local storage — is activated. In compliance:
- Non-essential tracking technologies are disabled by default across Akuntsu.com and Attractr/Audience Lab.
- No non-essential cookie, beacon, or local storage key is set until you take affirmative action via our consent banner.
- Declining optional tracking does not affect your ability to browse, submit forms, download resources, or use your Attractr account.
2. What We Cover
- Cookies — small text files placed on your device.
- Web beacons / pixels — used in some email and analytics tools.
- Browser storage (localStorage / sessionStorage) — used by some embedded tools (e.g., Tally forms, WordPress/Elementor) to persist state locally; treated identically to cookies under this Policy and Law 25.

Attractr login/session cookies may persist longer (e.g., up to 30 days) for authenticated-user convenience, separate from Akuntsu.com’s marketing-site cookies, which should not persist beyond session or a few days absent a specific functional reason.
4. Tools in Use
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymized/truncated IP, browser, pages viewed. Activated only on consent, confirmed working correctly for all visitors including Canada. Delivered via Google Site Kit’s Google tag (Google Tag Manager is present on Akuntsu.com but deploys no tags — see Privacy Policy Schedule A.3). Note: a single cookieless “consent-denied” ping is sent to Google on page load before consent, containing no cookie or identifier; whether this satisfies Quebec’s “nothing before consent” standard, versus blocking the request entirely, remains an open counsel question (see Section 1).
- Tally — session-level cookies/storage supporting form and survey completion (essential).
- Attractr/Audience Lab platform — authentication/session cookies and local storage to keep you logged in and maintain platform state (essential).
- Sendbird / Whereby — session-level technical cookies supporting in-platform chat and video (essential to the specific feature in use).
- Google Fonts — loads on every visit, including before consent, transmitting your IP address to Google. Akuntsu is migrating to self-hosted fonts to remove this; disclosed here as a functional/essential dependency until that migration is complete.
- SendGrid — used to send transactional emails (e.g., account confirmations, payment receipts) for the Attractr application. Does not set cookies in your browser.
- Mapbox — used to display interactive maps (e.g., event or venue locations) within the Attractr application. May set its own cookies or local storage to support map functionality.
- Google Ads / Remarketing — not currently in use on Akuntsu.com or Attractr/Audience Lab.
- Intercom — customer support chat. Loads only once you grant Functional consent; for signed-in users, Intercom receives your name and email to maintain your support conversation.
- Stripe (fraud-prevention cookies) — __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid are set only on checkout and payment-settings pages within the Attractr application, essential to processing your payment securely. Not set on the landing page, legal pages, or elsewhere on the site.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — disabled entirely as of 31 August 2026 (Real User Measurement turned off at the account level and removed from the Content Security Policy). No longer present on the Attractr application.
For users in the European Economic Area, we obtain consent before setting non-essential cookies, consistent with GDPR requirements.
5. How to Control Cookies
Use the consent banner on first visit; revisit your preferences anytime via the footer link, or clear cookies/storage directly through your browser settings. Declining or clearing may require re-entering preferences or logging in again on Attractr.

Your Privacy Settings We use essential cookies and local storage so our sites and platform work correctly. We’d also like to use optional analytics cookies to understand traffic and improve our services. In compliance with Quebec Law 25, optional tracking is off by default.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect new tools, legal requirements, or platform changes.
