Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, International Pavilion Facilitation & Operational Support
Challenge
As international teams prepared pavilion bids and operations for Expo 2025 Osaka, many faced the same obstacles: navigating Japanese regulations, identifying trusted local partners, aligning budgets and expectations, and managing communication across languages and business cultures. Entering Japan’s event ecosystem at this scale required more than technical expertise, it required trusted local coordination and cross-cultural navigation.
Our Role
Akuntsu collaborated with and supported seven international pavilion projects across various stages, from RFP participation to operational planning. We identified and connected teams with trusted Japanese suppliers, production partners, and operational specialists, while facilitating communication, relationship-building, and cross-cultural alignment throughout the process.
For awarded projects, Akuntsu continues to provide bilingual operational support and coordination as Expo 2025 approaches.
